Portia Allie-Turco, PhD is an assistant professor, clinic director, and program coordinator at the State University of New York, Plattsburgh. She owns Adirondack Mental Health Counseling, a private practice that utilizes indigenous healing practice in combination with EMDR and Sensorimotor psychotherapies to heal racial, historical, and generational trauma in people of African descent.
